The industrial value chain of Phosboucraa is characterized by its integration thanks to a 100 km conveyor connecting the Boucraa mine to the industrial units of Laayoune. The phosphate extracted at Boucraâ is conveyed via the longest phosphate conveyor in the world to Laâyoune where it is washed, dried and exported to international markets. Thanks to the seawater desalination plant, Phosboucraa beneficiation activities do not require any recourse to conventional water.
